Why we develop?

Quality is the opposite of chance
QM Systems are trustworthy and successful
Quality is uppermost priority. When we develop in-house, then the quality is influenced and determined by us no matter whether we are working on a single, a subassembly or a system. That is why we develop.
Our policy of quality coordinates internally as well as externally:
- Business values & principles
- Quality standards and client-specific demands on quality
High priority in our approach to business activities is the values & principles by which we conduct our business, particularly the relationships to employees, clients and last but not least, suppliers.
Top of the priority list in our company code of conduct is:
The quality of our products is determined by the client. His decision is final. He is only supplied with fault-free products. Our long-established QM system is constantly updated and improved to meet the demands of today and tomorrow.
The way to achieving our quality & business targets is an on-going process concentrating on the following strategic components:
- Optimally-trained & motivated workers
- Mastering of process sequences at all levels
- Involving suppliers and contractors into the QM system
- Regular checks and adaptation of quality objectives
The deciding factor in implementation of the politics of quality is the example set by management. Members of management at all levels are committed to daily dealings which are in full accord with our quality guidelines. In order to be able to meet increasing client demands for our products, not only today but into the future, our QM system is being constantly updated to keep in touch with the latest developments. Regular internal system audits as well as their continuous ongoing improvement is managed by Hubert Dix, who is in charge of quality management. First full test for the system was performed according to DIN EN ISO 9002 by the DASA-Zert organisation on 16th December 1996.
In the year 2001, all business activities as well as all production processes were re-organised in and around process chains. Both the updated standard EN ISO 9001:2000 and the Automobile Standard VDA 6.1 provided the basis for this far-reaching reform. Presentation was in HTML format, so that our QM manual has grown into a useful day-to-day tool.
Certification acc. to EN ISO 9001:2000 took place in 2002.
Habighorst places great value on the appreciation of this QM system as a dynamic, ever-present instrument for organising processes in a controlled, secure and rational manner. And of course the demands presented in relation to clients, suppliers, employees and the company as well as the environment are cared for.
